Look Up ! That’s your Rainbow! (A Poem)

There lies in the each of us,
A rainbow we call our own.
If you only look up,
There it rises from your imagination,
Across the sky and falls at your destination.
Rainbow’s never made of illusion,
But your wishes, visions and dreams.

Believe me,
I know I’m right,
You wait and see,
For if you follow your rainbow,
You shall reach the other side,
Your Rainbow Connection,
Your wishes, visions and dreams.

Although there are times,
So we’ve been told,
Rainbow’s but an illusion
Which some choose to believe.
And I’ve heard it too many times but
I simply ignore for I know,
There’s something about those Rainbows,
That keep me gazing
Dreaming dreams never dreamt before,
that someday I’m supposed find,
On the other side,
My Rainbow Connection,
My wishes, visions, and dreams.
